Whether your are in the mood for some excellent food or punchy cocktails, the interiors of a place add so much to the overall dine-in experience. So many Michelin-starred places around the world tailor the entire ambiance to their food so that it is one integrated experience. That being said, if all you are looking for are places to get uber-cool Instagram snaps, this list is for you. Indira Nagar continues to be one of Bengaluru's most loved food hotspots and here is a list of some of the most Instagram-Worthy restaurants in Indira Nagar.
1. Secret Stories: One of the most Instagram-worth places in my opinion, this place has tonnes of gorgeous spots to get that perfect click. From a towering bar, to funky little spots all over the place, this place is as gorgeous, as it is quirky.
2. Nevermind: The dine-in experience at Nevermind starts as soon as you cross the threshold of the entrance. You are immediately transported into an eclectic, futuristic scene with a beautiful greenish open-bar setup and cozy, secluded spots all over the place. Nevermind's interiors are modern and elegant. 3. Indira Nagar Social: This outlet of the ever-popular Social's chain from Impressario boasts of interiors straight out of the plan out a well-appointed Bungalow. It is in fact, housed in a repurposed bungalow. The entire space is divided into spaces based on a room in the house. This place has a casual setting on the lower levels, with a dining, living and library space. On the first floor lies a major crowd-puller: SOCIAL’s first-ever speakeasy-inspired bar. And lastly, the second floor is almost like a movie set from different eras, each with a story waiting to be told. Instagrammable? Check. Quirky? Check.
4. Hopshaus Tropical Taproom & Kitchen: This is their second outlet in the city after their Whitefield one. Located on the second floor above the ever-popular Sanchez and Sriracha, this outlet continues the botanical theme. The place is dotted with plants all around, and the bar here is one of my fav. spots. Complete with a neon-sign, with an Insta-worthy tropical mural, the perfect background for all your pictures after a good time here.
5. Daddy's: With a name like that, you have got to visit this place to take in all of it's quirkiness. This place has a unique flip bar counter that is one of a kind in the country. It has super-quirky spots and one of my favs. is the super-eclectic private dining room with quirky, full-length portraits of Hitler, Napoleon and the like, adorning one side of the room.The terrace ambience is also pretty special and Bengaluru's weather makes it even better.
6. Bhola and Blonde: Another fairly new entrant to Indira Nagar, the plush interiors of Bhola and Blonde are beautiful and opulent.. The gorgeous interiors of Bhola & Blonde are a depiction of the exotic east with heritage Indian design elements and peacock motifs all over. It is almost like a scene out of a painting with peacock blue tones, muted greens, ethnic bird cages & old-world tungsten lamps. Definitely on the list of quirky and Instagram-ready Indira Nagar spots.
